I have to say that I believe that friends don't have to be together to be friends. I know people online who are beautiful and are influencing me to the greatest things for me, for life and mostly for my creater. I thank God for all that. It's the fact of actually knowing people whether in person or not, I don't think it'll make a difference.
I know this is a silly topic but I thought I'd share it anyways. Hehehe...

Another Update on the job hunt
All I can say is that nothing is really happening. I'm just here dealing with other thing but at the same time, I'm not giving it my best shot. I admit, I'm being lazy. :P I went on 2 interviews and tomorrow I'm going to see the same person I got to see the day before yesterday. He offered to help me out and see what places I can apply for. So it's not that bad. Wish me good luck again whoever reads this...
Thanks to all those who actually should some sort of concern... You guys rock my world. Hehehehe...

Changes
Some people who actually do come to see my blog, if any, might wonder why all of my post with pics in me are gone. Well, it's simple really. It's because finally I took the bold step and actually started wearing the Hijab. It's great feeling. I love it. To most people if might seem it's an oppression. Too bad... To me it's liberty from mistakes and heartaches that I brought and kept bringing to myself. It brings me closer to my creator and I no longer feel that I'm a walking contradiction to a certain point. At least now I look exactly how my inside is, pure and modest with things and thoughts. Thank you everybody and Good night. :P
It's been a while
It's been a while since I've written anything on Blogger. Well, a huge part of it is that I'm totally bummbed out of the stupidity of my internet provider over in this country. They blocked the photos on here. So pretty much I can't look at pics on anybody's blogs including mine. I can't even view one of my favorite blogs that somewhat brings peace to my mind. Oh well, I sent many emails asking them to resolve this problem. I hope they figure it out. Oh well...

Music
For the past week, I've done a series of really short pieces of music. None of them is really my composition but just my own version of old songs. They turned out great. I have no idea what to do with them. I think I'll just keep on doing more work till I have enough to do at least an EP.
I already have done an EP (Rollercoaster Journey) when I was in Malaysia with some help from a fellow Beatles' fan. The songs are Western.. Some are originals and some covers. The new work is all Middle Eastern with a Western taste to it. This time I'm using my synthesizer and my computer to record using Nuendo. Unlike last time, I had my college's studio to work in. I'm not too sure what to call this EP. I'm sure once I have enough songs, it'll come to me.
If anybody wants to hear what I came up with please let me know.

Lunare Wrasse
This is my favorite fish. Isn't it beautiful? Of course this is to look at not to eat. I once swam and fed these fish when I was in Malaysia. It was the most spiritual experience with nature... This fish goes by different names. It's common names are Crescent Wrasse, Moon Wrasse, and Lunare Wrasse. It's Official name is Thalassoma Lunare.

Dude, where are my peeps?

Pick -a - BOO!! I see you.

Oh I'm so pretty.

I hope this is a good place to hide.

Oh dear... Am I lost??

Hey fishes, let's go for a swim.

Spirituality and Music
Not too long ago I came across the most amazing video game called, "The Journey to Wild Divine". It's a game that'll help you learn different techniques of meditation and breathing. Playing the game was an outstanding experience. I'm excited because they're doing a sequel to the game. Woohoo!!
The soundtrack of the game is a different story. It's a collection of the beautiful music I've ever heard. From that I was introduced to Snatam Kaur. Her music is a fusion of Traditional Indian music and Western music. It's all so peaceful and it sure does help bring me to a state of love and peace with her love filled chants. I can't decide which of her albums I like best. They all touch me in one way or the other. I love the fact that she promotes peace among different faiths like Sikhism, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Navaho.
Her music is surely the best thing you can listen when you want to relax with an angelic voice like hers.

Job Search
I hate this phase; I've graduated and I'm done with my long waited vacation. Now it's time to make something out the education that took 7 years in the make. Finally, I'm now a qualified Audio Engineer. It's great but then now I have to look for a job. I'm search and applying. It's such a heinous procedure. It's really annoying that I still don't have my diploma on me because the system in Malaysia is totally slow since it has to arrive from Australia then be certified by the Ministry of Education then certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After I get that, I'd need to certify it again by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. LOVELY, I just hope that I can actually get a job without it being in my hands. I don't even have a copy of it since it's issued in Australia. What to do???
I WANT A JOB, I want to do something useful in my life other than sitting there doing nothing and feel I'm useless. Hmmmm... In God's will I'll find a job and I'll grow more as a person. Even though this is a pain in the butt, I have to admit, I came up with the greatest portfolio. It looks absolutely wonderful. I'm sooooo proud of that. Hehehe...
Whoever reads this, please pray for me to get a job and if I do, I'll probably buy you a gift from the soul. :P

Politics
Lately I've been wondering about a few things about current events. It really disgusts me 100%. I've never really liked politics because it seriously gives me a headache because nothing and I mean NOTHING seems the way it is. There are always some hidden truth to everything. I used to seriously look into politics but honestly I couldn't handle it because things are getting worse and worse and my fear of this turning into some sort of 3rd WW is getting bigger and bigger. So when our side of the world's leaders decided to finally take care of root of the issue instead of worry about their power?? At least we can all do us a favor and fight for what we believe is right and raise the next generation to be more aware and willing to make a difference.

Psychics
I have no idea what on earth to believe about Psychics. I had a few pathetic with phone psychics. Hahaha... They are liars for sure. I've wasted money on that. I haven't lost hope though, LOL. Somebody once told me that I even had the ability. Well, I have to admit my sensitivity makes me feel things not everybody does. Plus, I really love to be aware of my surroundings. I do meditate whenever I can and it's the most amazing feeling.
So while I'm writing this, I'm on PalTalk in a room where there is this British Psychic who really sounds cute... He seems very sweet, like a grandfather would be to his grandchildren. His defiantly out there. Hehehehe.. It's for free so I'm waiting for my turn till I get my reading. I think I'll ask about my career since I'm in the middle of a job search and see what will happen.
Well, I wasn't lucky today. I didn't get a reading because the psychic mentioned something about him being tired and so are his spirits. There a lot waiting. It's all good though. Maybe next time I'll end up getting a free reading. Another good thing is that I met this lady from Trinidad. She seems like an absolute sweetheart. Reminds me of 2 really wonderful people that have been there for me spiritually. I guess if you can't have them all but you can have some stuff. :)

Living Style in Old Times in Damascus
Umayyad Mosque
Here are some pics I took of Ummayad Mosque's Minaras in my stay in Syria. Very gorgeous mosque with such ancient hisotry.

The Minaret of the Bride is the oldest and most beautiful minaret of the Umayyad Mosque. According to a 17th century historian, its name is attributed to the daughter of a Damascene merchant who was asked by the King to provide lead, a scarce material at this time, to cover the roof of the minaret. The merchant's daughter would not give him the material before he paid her the weight of the lead in silver, which he eventually did. Convinced that he was a man of his word, she donated the lead for free and agreed to marry the king. The minaret was thereafter given the title of the woman who provided the leaden covering: Al-Arous - The Bride.

Here's another Minara from the Ummayad Mosque. Don't know much about this one. If any one does, please fill me up with the information.. Thank you.

- This info but not the pic was taken from another blog.
The reason why I took this angle of The Bride is because it shows the history of Umayyad Mosque. How it used to be an ancient temple, then a church and now, for thousands of years, a mosque.

Mysterious doors of Old Damascus
Here are some pics of my stay in my homeland Syria... On New Years eve my aunt's family decided to take me to Old Damascus which happens to be my favorite place in all of Damascus. These doors really caught my attention and had to take pics of them. What do you think aren't they spooky in a very gorgeous way???

One really mysterious looking door... What could be in there???

Another door... What is hidden behind that door???

And another door... What does this door hold???

Weird Encounter
I know somebody online that I get to talk to every great while but for some odd reason. The strange thing that every time I get to talk to him something sweet happens. I remember once he helped me with the most hideous project I had to do for college all the way from Canada when I was in Malaysia. He thinks totally highly of me and I feel that recognizes what I went through in the past couple years. I totally appreciate that because that's what I need at the moment in my life. Something about my encounter with this guy that makes it weird is sometimes it feel very magical. He just come and goes and every time he comes briefly he leaves something positive in me. It's like he's an angel sent by God. LOL I know well enough he's human with his own set of issues. I like it when he comes to me for advice because he actually listens to me I feel that he's doing a little better. :) God bless his heart....

Love so Sweet
I have this urge to write something on here but I have no idea what it is I want to write or should I say, type. I guess I'll just babble. I checked out a friend of mine's girlfriend's blog. It was beautiful. Her posts are very sweet and what was even sweeter was her boyfriend's comments. I realized more and more how romantic is my friend with his writing. Maybe he can be the next Shakespeare. You'll never know. I wanted to leave a comment on her blog but after reading his comments I was speechless. I was clueless, so I decided not to say anything at all.

The Mind
From what I know. The mind is the most powerful tool on earth. The thing is that you'd need to know how to use it and do what it is you need to control. It's a very hard thing to do but with extreme will power, patience and practice, everything is possible. Meaning, I could be capable on doing anything I please with these 3 aspects. Of course I'd also need to have faith in myself. I need to believe. My problem is that I know what I need to do and I'm very convinced but the problem is that I don't execute. I have no idea why? I think I might have a missing ingredient which would be will power. As they say, "If there's a will, there's a way" I guess that comes with practice and just ignoring all the negative feelings I have inside of me. Just fight them all and not let any of them get in the way of my happiness. These negative aspects can be either internal or external. I guess, I'm just going to have to figure out a way to be able to control how I react to all things. Reprogram myself, I need to do this because my situation right now is getting more and more unbearable. I guess another aspect of this whole situation is I need to be surrounded by more positive people. I need to be among go getter and become just like them. I'll just have the world in my hands then.
